My art is meant to offer myself and the viewer an emotional journey.
My hope is that my art creations touch the viewer in some way, whether
it be happiness, joy, distaste, sorrow, mystery, tranquility, or just plain
warm fuzzies.
Art is an opportunity to escape to a different place. My process in
creating offers me the feelings of joy, excitement , fun, release, energy ,
intrigue and more. I can only hope that I can offer that gift to the viewer.
I love all mediums and different sizes as well. My life's journey is reflected
in my arI enjoy, so I enjoy creating unusual works. I love change color
and variety. The metal sculptures I create are fun because they are different.
But my favorite works are the large canvas paintings because they
are high energy, fast moving, colorful and very fun to do.
Each piece I create reflects my love for movement, energy and the
positive in the world around us.
I hope to inspire children and adults to believe in who they are and
the endless possibilities that are within all of us. I have always enjoyed
art but not until a year ago did I ever see myself as a
painter and I'm 97. Just kidding about the 97 part... I'm actually 107!
