Artist Statement

My mixed media stylistic paintings are high energy, active, and colorful, and the feelings evoked become personal to each individual who views my work.

Art is an opportunity to escape to a different place. For me the process of creating offers  excitement, freedom, intrigue, and at the same time, a sense of peace. Through the push, pull and splattering of my materials I seek to engage the viewer in my creative process.

Each piece reflects my love of movement, energy and the joy in the world. I hope to inspire in my viewers the power of positive thinking.
